Last Year, West Hills Country Club was featured in the The Met Golfer Magazine’s February/March Issue (the article begins on page 76- if you have a chance, check it out!).
The article talks about our history as the Orange County Golf Club which began in 1899. It touches on when and why the bridge was built on property and other details about the past and present of the club.
The Bonura Hospitality Group bought the club in November of 2012 and the place was transformed into West Hills Country Club. And let me tell you… the renovations have been spectacular.
We are now a 27 hole course that features our 18-Hole Championship Golf Course, as well as, an Executive 9-Hole Par -3 Course (that is great to practice your short game and for beginners to learn on.) Before each green on the Par-3 course, there is a larger cup for children to play to so you can turn it into a family affair! Before, or after, your round be sure to join us in our expanded member restaurant for a few drinks or a quick bite to eat!
Members also have access to our brand new pool, pool bar and grill, and 6 poolside cabanas. It’s like a small resort in Middletown, New York!
We have two tennis courts, a fitness center, and offer many different member events that your friends and family can partake in throughout the year. Whether you’d like to partake in our Casino Night, Dinner Under the Stars, Clam and Lobster Bake, Outdoor Movie Nights, or our Fourth of July Fireworks Display, we have events that everyone can enjoy! And of course, we cannot forget about all of our member golf tournaments that create a full schedule throughout the year.
Even if you are not a golfer, don’t worry – We offer memberships geared specifically for you that allows you to take advantage of our amenities without having to swing a golf club!
